Charlene obtained her B.A. from Memorial University of Newfoundland in 1993, and her law degrees, B.C.L. and LL.B., from McGill University in 1998. Charlene was admitted to the Law Society of Upper Canada in 2000.
She was awarded a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Civil Litigation and Dispute Resolution from Osgoode Hall Law School, York University in 2016.
Charlene practices exclusively in civil litigation, and began her legal career in Ottawa almost 18 years ago. She has appeared at various levels of court, and has acted as counsel at many mediations and arbitrations. Her areas of practice include employment law, construction law, commercial disputes, insurance law, condominium law, personal injury, and professional malpractice. She represents individuals, small businesses, and large corporations, providing advice and service on a variety of legal issues. Obtaining the best result for the client is Charlene's ultimate purpose. Her determination, strong will, and ability to see both sides of the story ensure that result.
